How to look for someone who has been detained
Online locator:
https://locator.ice.gov/odls/homePage.do
Check for several variations on the person’s name if you can’t find them on first try (last name first, different spellings—sometimes it works.) Use the ICE online locator to find someone detained who is currently in ICE custody, or who was released from ICE custody for any reason within the last 60 days. The system cannot search for records of persons under the age of 18.

Immigration Court Hotline: 1-800-898-7180.
If the person you know already has court assigned and you know the person’s A#, then you can call the immigration court hotline, at least to find out what court they will be going through.
